Everything exceeded our expectations!
I am from Baltimore, but had to spend Wednesday, October 1st (as well as the next day) at Johns Hopkins Hospital for some cancer-related testing. In an effort to save some commuting time, as well as have a nice, affordable place to rest, my husband booked a room for us. I didn't know a thing about the hotel, but I agreed, knowing it was wise to stay close to the hospital in case my study didn't go as planned. Luckily, the study ended a bit early Wednesday the 1st, and even though check-in time wasn't until 4 pm, we arrived at 3:50 pm. The valet greeted us warmly, and helped me out of the car. We immediately had a cart for our few overnight items. The gentleman who took our items to our room was kind enough to hold the door for me as I walked with my cane - so he was carting all the luggage AND being exceptionally polite. I was thrilled from the start. At the front desk, the gentleman was friendly and asked us why we were coming to stay in Baltimore before handing us the keys to our room. And when we went up to the room, we were very, very humbled and surprised - we'd been upgraded from a basic queen studio to a queen suite with a full living room and a waterfront view of the Harbor! I was at ease and knew we'd be taken care of, in an emergency or just under normal circumstances. I had to spend most of the night in the room due to how I was feeling, but that was fine as the room was gorgeous. The couch was comfy, the eclectic pictures and amazing art deco style brought a sensible, urban, clean comfort to the suite, the WiFi was reliable, the view was stunning, and the bed was beyond comfortable (I haven't slept for more than five hours in years. At this hotel, I slept for nine. It was a miracle!). Everything was comfortable, eco-friendly, and clean. We were called about 30 minutes after we got to the room to see if we needed anything. And then, that night, we ventured down to the bar and relaxed for an hour down there. The bartender was friendly and my husband enjoyed the wide array of Maryland wines and beers. And the next morning, as I slept, my husband enjoyed the wonderful breakfast offered to guests. I was sad when we had to check out in the morning, to be honest, and we have decided to come back for a long weekend just to enjoy the view and see if we can explore a bit more - we were only two blocks from the Harbor, after all. Everyone was so polite and friendly, and as we checked out in the morning, Yolanda told us to call her next time and request the same room that we loved so much - she would absolutely help us out! The valet brought our car back safely, opened and closed the door for me, and with that, our stay ended - but it won't be the only stay. As I said, we'll be back. This is definitely a more hip, trendy hotel, and while I'm sure our three-year-old would enjoy it (and the staff would welcome him), it's wonderful for couples or parties/friends. It was the perfect home-away-from-home for my husband and me, and I cannot wait to return.

Terrifci location and service
Me and my friends, 3 couples stayed at the Brookshire Suites this week. The hotel is perfect for enjoying the harbor. One block away we parked the car and walked everywhere, Little Italy, the Aquarium, Harbor. The hotel is very attractive the staff is amazingly friendly. They believe in making the guest experience enjoyable. I highly recommend Brookshires.

A Good Choice
Over this past weekend our family of 4 travelled to Baltimore to take in an O's game. This is the first time we have stayed at the Brookshire Suites and were quite happy with our choice. Every member of the staff was extremely pleasant and willing to assist as needed. The location is awesome, being only one block from Harbor Place and walking distance to many other downtown attractions. The hotels décor was both comfortable and fun. The only negative I can say about our trip was the traffic noise. While I am sure that our fourth floor location was the main cause, poor window quality also played a part. We would certainly consider a stay at the Brookshire again should our travels bring us back to the Inner Harbor.

Amazing Service and Location
The staff here is all very attentive, pointed out great site seeing, explains everything in detail. We checked in to our room, as first time stayers we were upgraded for free to a suite. Suites are BEAUUUtiful!!! Free breakfast was bagels, english muffins, cereal, yogurts, fruit, coffee and juices nothing fancy but perfect to start your day off. You can walk every where you need to in Baltimore and any where you cannot there is a free shuttle! Harbor is down the road with tons of restaurants and shops within walking distance. Bar and snack shop in the lobby. Overall our stay was amazing!! we will recommend this to our friends and family and definitely come again to Brookshire Suites!!
